Alaskan King Crab Co. Wild-Caught Sea Scallops aren’t just large, they’re super colossal. There are 7-8 scallops per pound, and 3-4 scallops are enough for one serving.
- Each order is packed with dry ice so that it stays completely frozen while en route to your doorstep.
How To Prepare

To thaw, remove the Sea Scallops from their original packaging, place them in a plastic bag, and thaw them in the refrigerator for 6-8 hours.

To expedite the thawing process, place the scallops in a plastic bag and run it under cool water (never hot water). Learn more safe thawing tips here.

Once thawed, drain any liquid and pat them dry. Season both sides with your desired seasoning (salt and pepper will do the trick), and sear the scallops for 3-4 minutes on either side until a crisp, golden edge has formed. Aim for an internal temperature of 120° F.

You will receive between 14 and 16 scallops in a two-pound order. (That’s ~7-8 scallops per pound… they’re massive!)

The only thing better than these particular Scallops would be getting fresh windmill scallops. These are extremely large and very sweet to eat. I put them on the for only 2 minutes and turn for another two and done perfectly. The most amazing fresh seafood you can buy is right here on this site.
