We accept ShopPay, Paypal, Apple Pay, Amazon Pay, and all major credit cards.
We ship orders Monday through Thursday overnight via UPS and fulfill same-day for orders placed before 3:00 pm ET. Orders placed after 3:00 pm ET on Thursdays are shipped the following Monday. We recommend ordering a day or two early to avoid any timing-related stress due to carrier delays. Additionally, during checkout, you can use our order schedule feature to choose your desired delivery date if you’re planning ahead.
To request a cancellation or modification to your order, please contact our customer service team via Live Chat or email (info@alaskankingcrab.com.) Keep in mind that we fulfill orders same-day if placed before 3 pm ET, Monday through Thursday. If your order has already been fulfilled, we are unable to cancel or modify it. Please note that our customer service representatives are online Sunday - Friday, 8 am - 4 pm ET.
Due to the perishable nature of our products, we do not accept returns. If there is an issue with your order once you’ve received it, please contact us within 12 hours of delivery and we will access your order for a potential refund, or help you file a claim with Route – our shipping protection provider. In any and all cases, please contact us at info@alaskankingcrab.com with your first and last name, order number and pictures if applicable.
No, all invoices with pricing are sent via email only. Inside the box you will receive a packing slip with your order number and item lists.
Alaskan King Crab Co. gift cards never expire.
Rewards points do not expire. Once you redeem them the amount will be deducted from your account, but there is no use-by date.
We have seen an increase in the number of fraudulent websites that use the Alaskan King Crab Co. name, logo, and site design to take advantage of unsuspecting customers. If the site you are shopping on or made a purchase from does not have a URL (website address) that starts with www.alaskankingcrab.com it is likely an unauthorized or fraudulent site. If you have placed an order on one of these sites, we recommend the following:
- Immediately reach out to your bank, credit card company, or other payment processor (including PayPal) to discuss how you can dispute the charges or reclaim any funds that you've spent.

Yes – all king crab and seafood we sell will ship with dry ice and arrive frozen or in a near-frozen state.
We recommend thawing your Alaskan King Crab Co. products in the refrigerator for 24 hours before cooking for the best possible quality, taste, and experience. If you’re in a hurry, remove your catch from the original packaging, place it in a sealable plastic bag, and run it under cold water – never hot water – to speed up the process. For King Crab, Snow Crab, and Dungeness Crab, we recommend rinsing the crab under cold water before heating to remove the ice glaze.
After thawing, king crab and seafood should be cooked and enjoyed within 1 - 2 days for safe consumption.

Generally meat should be consumed within 5-7 days after being thawed, but we recommend eating meat within 3 days for the best quality, taste and experience.
The average weight differs for L, XL and XXL Legs. Since each order is based on weight, the number of legs per pound will vary. We try our best to fill all orders with mostly legs and claws and limit the number of broken pieces.
- Large King Crab Legs: One leg can weigh between 1 ¼ - 2 ¼ lbs.
- Extra Large King Crab Legs: One leg can weigh between ¾ - 1 lbs.
- Extra, Extra Large King Crab Legs: One leg can weigh between ½ - ¾ lbs.
All of the fish we sell is boneless. However, bones may be present.

Due to the nature of the product (and lucky for you!) – a single king crab leg rarely weighs just 1-2lb. To provide the best possible feasting experience, king crab leg orders start at 3lb so that you get more than just one leg.
We offer free overnight shipping on all orders $350+. If your order doesn’t reach this threshold, your shipping cost will vary based on your order total after discounts and sales tax.
All orders are shipped via UPS Next Day Air. We ship all orders placed before 3:00 EST the same day. Any order placed on Thursday after 3:00 EST will ship the following Monday.
You may track your order by using our customer support portal. To do so, you will be asked to provide the email address used when placing the order, as well as your order number. If you’re unable to locate these, our customer service team will be happy to assist you via live chat or email at info@alaskankingcrab.com.

We currently ship products almost anywhere within the United States. Due to the nature of our perishable products, we do not ship internationally.

In the event that your package is stolen once it’s been delivered, Alaskan King Crab Co. does not assume responsibility for the package. If Route Shipping Protection was purchased when the order was placed, you may be eligible for a reshipment or a refund with proper documentation. Otherwise, we are unfortunately unable to provide a reshipment or a refund.
Unless your order is flagged, we do not require signature upon delivery. If a signature is required for delivery, you will be notified before your order is fulfilled.
Orders that do not make it on time for a party are not eligible for a refund, so please order early. We recommend leaving a few days of buffer for shipping carrier errors and thaw time. We ship all orders via UPS Next Day Air, with delivery services ending around 10:00 PM in some areas, so scheduling a same-day delivery is not advised.
